As part of our ethical approach to reducing the numbers of homeless dogs and cats, we run a last litter program. This program involves the surrender of the entire litter to us when the puppies or kittens are no more than eight weeks old. We encourage you to contact us as soon as the puppies or kittens are born to discuss the timing of their surrender.

In return, we arrange for the mother of the puppies or kittens to be desexed at Condamine Veterinary Clinic, 185 Bracker Road, Warwick at no charge to you (if you hold a pension or health care card) or for a co-payment of $50.

Please fill out the surrender application below to see if we have spaces available in our Last Litter Program.  We give preference to applicants who hold a pension or health care card.

Microchipping and vaccination of the mother is also highly recommended, but will be at your cost.

PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

A current photo of the mother dog or cat.

A photo of the father, if known.

A photo of all the puppies/kittens born to the mother.

Any certificates i.e., desexing, vaccinations.

If microchipped, the microchip details and a signed transfer of registration form.

Details of any worming completed, including date and brand of the wormer.

A copy of your pension concession card or health care card.

THESE ITEMS CAN BE EMAILED TO info@southerndownsark.com.au
